Entertainment in Markham, Ontario

In Markham there are lots of things to do, from hitting a night on the town, to watching a movie at your local mall. Markham has it all and more! Markham has several malls including several Chinese ones! These malls are geared towards the large number of Chinese people living in Markham that would like to buy tradtional Chinese goods. There are also many small stores in Markham and many, many more in nearby Toronto.

Nearly all of the sports in Markham itself are either amateur or recreational. That said they do have an abundance of teams for you, your spouse, and your kids. Nearby Toronto however has quite a few professional teams including the Raptors, Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, and Argos. For those golfers out there because of Markham's large tracts of undeveloped land there is an unproportional amount of golf courses in the area.

There are also lots of cultural buildings such as museums and Ontarion Place is within a couple hours drive!
